"Our Dignitaries still fail to take into the consideration the opposition opinion and the position of the society and local self-government bodies regarding the action of certain officials that are against values of the Ukrainian state, its culture and dignity of the Ukrainian people", Mykola Tomenko, the Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine declared.
"When the Deputy Minister throw doubts on the independence of state and deems it better to form the union state, one may only guess what other solution in the social sphere our state is going to face", M. Tomenko declared.
"It is regrettable that a lot of actions in the similar anti-state direction are planed to be implemented in the nearest future", - the Deputy Chairman briefed. In particular, according to M. Tomenko, pursuant to the words of the Party of Regions representatives, all the decisions, in the course of the formation of the National Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting Matters are adopted by Valerii Khoroshkovskii, Security Service of Ukraine Chairman, holding at the same time the office of the Head of television holding of "Inter" channel. "It is nonsense when SSU Chairman and co-owner of more then 10 television channels will define the personnel of the National Council that is obliged to control these channels", - the Deputy Chairman emphasised.
Moreover, M. Tomenko stated that "the decision to dismiss the chairmen of the National Radio Company of Ukraine will be perceived, non-adequately, to put it mildly. The owners of the company have their interests in the building in the center of Kyiv." M. Tomenko stressed that the initiators of the chairmanship altering probably are not aware of the fact that more then one thousand people are working for this company, on its basis four channels continues their activity, a great number of artistic troops belong to it and so on.
M. Tomenko is convinced that all these trouble are cause by the fact that "the President of Ukraine and the Government have not represented yet the strategy of the social policy in Ukraine and, probably, each of the high-ranking authorities and businessmen make everything possible to implement their business-interests of political projects."
